AGE GROUP COORDINATORS - click here
TEAM PLACEMENT: For Fall of grade 3, age group coordinators try to set up teams with at least two players from a school together. Teams are mixed with at least 2 schools per team. Requests can not be made to be placed with a specific friend or coach. Head and assistant coaches can make a request to be paired together. For spring grade 3, teams are picked in a round robin fashion by the coaches with the goal of making equally skilled teams. While they try to pick players to have school mates, it is not always possible.
TEAM PLACEMENT POLICY
Please note The Wellesley United Soccer Club has a policy against accepting requests for specific placement or grouping of players or for specific coaches. While we clearly understand that parents have the best intentions in mind, with over one hundred players per grade the many specific requests that would inevitably be made would make it very difficult , if not impossible, to put teams together.
Earrings Safety Alert!
For safety reasons, EARRINGS and other jewelry cannot be worn during games. The referee will ask you to remove them before playing . If you are planning to get ears pierced, do it early in the summer so they can be removed at first game in Sept. or early in winter so they can be removed at first game in early April. Referees will not allow taping of earrings - they must be removed in order to play.
