Late fee of $25 is applied after the deadline and space on team cannot be guaranteed.
Refund Policy for Grade 4-8: Full refund up to Jan 6, 2024, 50% refund Jan 6-Jan. 30, 2025, No refund after Jan. 30, 2025.
Spring teams must be submitted to BAYS in January so you must register by Jan. 6th deadline. 4th -8th grade teams will be kept the same whenever possible but is dependent on number of players who register. A player must be registered in order to be placed on a team.
Fees
Grade 4-8 Spring Team registration fee $250
Registration Fee payment is by credit card only, Late fee after deadline is $25. If you have financial need, scholarships are available. Please email with reason for scholarship request and select Fee Waiver Request.
Players will wear the red NIke uniform shirt, gray practice jersey, black shorts and black socks from Fall season. If you did not play in the fall and are a new player, a shirt number will be assigned and you will need to purchase a new uniform kit from WE GOT SOCCER store via online link on our club website. Extra items can also be purchased. Shin pads and cleats are required. Players should bring a ball to practice. Size 4 ball is recommended for grade 4-6, size 5 ball for grades 7-8.
Players must live in Wellesley or attend school in Wellesley. (Please email for rules about grandfathering in players who move out of town or move to out of town school). Players should register with their grade. if you have questions, check with the registrar at admin at wellesleysoccer.org
WHERE: All teams play in BAYS (Boston Area Youth Soccer) travel league, comprised of 55 towns around greater Boston. There will be 5 away games and 5 home games during the season. Home games are played at Sprague, Elm Bank, Schofield and Perrin fields. See Field link above for directions and field maps.
WHEN: Games are Saturdays for 10 weeks, April 12 -June 14. Girls usually play Saturday morning at 9:00, 10:30 or 12 noon. Boys usually play Saturday afternoons at 1:30, 3 or 4:30 pm. (Schedule may vary each week).
Team Formation for Spring: 4th-8th Grade Teams are generally kept the same from fall to spring whenever possible but there may be some roster movement as the team formation depends on the # of players who return to play from fall to spring on each team and the coaches who volunteer. If you have specific questions about your child's age group including team placement, please contact the appropriate Age Group Coordinator.
Tryouts There will one tryout for 4th-7th graders and 2 tryouts for 3rd graders during spring season (late April-May) for fall 2025 team placement. Please check the tryout info and the tryout policy for more info about tryouts and team placement. The Spring Tryout Schedule and information for parents about the tryout process will be posted in February-March via this link Tryout Schedule and Info. It is not necessary to tryout to be placed on a balanced team.
