WUSC U14 Girls team plays game at Harvard before Boston Breakers season opener
Wellesley United Soccer Club (WUSC) has developed a partnership with the Boston Breakers and WUSC U14 Division 1 girls team was given an exciting opportunity to play a game on the home field of the Boston Breakers at Harvard prior to the Breakers’ season opener versus goalie Hope Solo and the Seattle Reign.
WUSC U14 girls took the field on a beautiful Sunday afternoon and played a strong game against NEFC Barcelona team and came out with a nice win 3-0. This is the final season for the Girls U14 team which has been together since 4th grade when they were U10 so it was a special day. It was a unique opportunity to play on the same field as the Boston Breakers and it was a memorable day for coaches and players! Players and families then stayed to watch the Breakers season opener game vs Seattle.
